3 months in, still amazing

After having previously bought a few chairs from Tesco/Amazon/etc. I finally decided to shelve out a little bit more and get myself a more sturdy one, initially leaning towards DX racer, but thought I'd give Noble Chairs a go. The delivery time was fast and prompt, and the box is huge. The instruction manual says that you need 2 people to put together, but 1 person is fine, though it can take longer and be slightly more tedious (I DO highly recommend you get a friend/family to do this with you). The instructions were very well illustrated, and took myself about 1 hour-1 hour 30 mins. (doing this alone mind you). Everything fit well, though screwing the back part alone was the hardest part. 3 months in, and this chair still feels as sturdy as the first day I received it. All the parts feel well built, and definitely worth the money.

My previous gaming chair had given 10+ years of excellent service, but I was in the market for a new one when one of the casters broke. I'd received an email about Noble chairs from Overclockers the week before, so dug it out of my Gmail and went to the site to take a look. After a lot of deliberation, I decided to go for the real leather version, and despite hovering over the buy button a number of times before finally clicking it (this is an expensive chair!), it was on its way to me. After a few weeks of use, I can say I'm extremely happy with this chair. I'm very tall (6'6"), and the back on this chair is long enough to provide good support. Add the head pillow (very soft), and leaning back becomes a real joy! I didn't use the lumber pillow. The chair is overall very comfortable. The seat cushion is quite firm, but I personally like this. The adjustable arms are also very great (previous chair did not have those). Of course, having real leather means it feels and looks great and will be hard wearing. Assembly was straightforward, although as has been said in other reviews, the seat back spring mechanism is extremely powerful, so if you have small children around that would like to "help" put this chair together, I'd say keep them well away for that part of the assembly!

Expensive but ....

I spend long hours at my desk. As I'm a software developer, blogger and occasional gamer. Meaning a quality chair was important to me. The Noble Epic chair is exceptionally well made, I guess you get what you pay for. Because it isn't cheap. In fact it is eye wateringly expensive. (Yet still good value!) Its really adjustable and looks great. I opted for the all black leather option. I wanted a chair that looked a little different but still something classy for my home office. The seat foam is a little firm but still a very comfortable chair. (If you want a soft chair this might not be the one for you.) But in my opinion a slightly firm chair is preferable when spending long hours working. The armrests are more adjustable than I expected, something which is enabling me to obtain an ideal position for typing. Assembly was really easy and instructions were clear. It actually arrives with the armrests already attached which made the assembly super quick. If you can justify the cost you won’t be disappointed.
